Zephyr on the Charles celebrates its reopening after receiving a comprehensive makeover. New carpet, contemporary hard wood floors and colorful modern accents give the Cambridge restaurant dining room a warm, fresh and inviting feel. Zephyr on the Charles features dishes inspired by classic New England cuisine with an emphasis on abundance and seasonality. Take in views of the Boston skyline and Charles River through expansive picture windows or enjoy dining on our Garden Terrace during the warmer months. You can even stay in touch with the office via email while you’re dining at our Boston area restaurant; Wi-Fi is available throughout Zephyr on the Charles.

Our expansive breakfast buffet has now brought out our Omelet Chef in to the dining room. Our Chef will prepare your omelet or eggs any style to your liking. Using the freshest vegetables, smoked meats and cheeses, select cage free eggs or egg whites and they will prepare your omelet in minutes. If you like they can show you the technique on how too make the prefect omelet.
Seasonal Outdoor Dining
Spice up the season with al fresco dining that comes with special summer drinks and menus. The Garden Terrace is a quaint shaded terrace, directly overlooking the Charles River and the Boston skyline.
Seating on the terrace is available for lunch, dinner and cocktails. The tranquil setting, graced with greenery, flowers and unparalleled views is a magnificent backdrop to your delectable meal.

New England Seafood Market
Making its debut on Friday, November 18th, New England Seafood Market will feature a lively atmosphere of food and fun with new interactive dining showcasing the best of New England’s bounty by our resident Fishmonger and Raw Bar Chef.
On display for selection will be delectable hand-picked shellfish along with an abundance of local seasonal fish straight from the Gloucester Day dock. Diners can then watch as the culinary artisans create gourmet dishes using rustic New England specialty ingredients.
The New England Seafood Market at Zephyr on the Charles will feature the following selections:
- Oyster Flight Tasting with three distinct styles of oysters from the area waters featuring our signature lemon horseradish granite and classic accompaniments
- Freshly Steamed Gulf Shrimp in the rough tossed with old bay seasoning lemons and a selection of funky hot sauces
- Iced Little Neck Clams on the half shell with peppercorn mignonette
- Steamed Acadian Mussels with coconut milk and lemon grass
- New England Clam Chowder with Westminster Oyster Crackers
- Grilled Calamari Salad with Peppadew Peppers
In addition to the New England Seafood Market, diners can select from an a la carte dinner menu featuring a one and a half pound Lobster, Gloucester Day Boat Fish and Grilled Rib Eye Steaks. Making this delicious experience even more festive is live contemporary jazz playing for all diners.
The New England Seafood Market will run every Friday evening from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. The full menu is priced at $43.00 per person. Zephyr diners receive three-hour complimentary parking at the hotel’s garage.

Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Dinner
Zephyr on the Charles Restaurant offering sweeping views of the beautiful city of Boston celebrates with a special Valentine’s sweetheart prix fixe menu that will be offered February 11th & 14th, 2012. Valentine’s Dinner is priced at $95 per couple, plus tax & gratuities. Dinner will be served from 5pm to 10pm. Complimentary 3-hour parking validation for restaurant guests is available in the hotel’s convenient parking garage.
